As long as he remember what he is enough to use the power he has? The rest doesn't matter.

[ it's almost ruthless. but he doesn't care much for the castiel of the past, or of a different timeline. he has his cas, has him in a way dean had never expected and that's more than enough for him.

but he does add, after a moment of hesitation; ]

If he were to find out... I'm the way I am, he won't help me.

[ much like what had happened with the previous cas. they realize he's not their dean, he isn't the weaker version, and they stay away, find him something of an abomination.
