[ when a building tries to eat you, you don't stay put. that's how dean and cas lose their still very new home, as it forces them to grab whatever they can and to run, dean not intending on staying around to see what the slime and moving of the walls around them might actually mean. cas, is of course, grabbed along.
what greets them outside is finding out that theirs isn't the only building acting strange, but rather the entire campus is going off its tracks; people running around, desperate to find shelter, and that's exactly what dean demands they do as well, especially once the clouds above them turn a particularly nasty shade of dark, rumbling with promise if rain. ]
We need to find somewhere safe. Somewhere with an advantage.
[ one over the cultists, all of whom are also on the streets, looking every bit as agitated as dean feels. ]
[ It's good that they're always prepared no matter the circumstances, so escaping a building intent on keeping them inside to kill them hadn't been as difficult to manage as one might expect. There's a bag slung over his shoulder and another gripped tight in his hand, looking ready to move on and out without so much as a direct order. That particular tendency had never left either of them, it seems.
Outside, Castiel is doing his best to observe the layout, listening to Dean and relatively unsure which direction would be best to start in. All the buildings are out of the question; so that means there's really only one option. He frowns, gesturing with the slightest tilt of his head. ]
That way. We can't stay here, and the buildings are probably the same as the one we just left. [ Trying to eat them. ] What do you want to do?
[ Because hiding out in the jungle isn't exactly the best choice, but it's the only one they have. And the rain-- He glances up and feels a cold drop soak right through the sweaty tangle of his hair. That's going to make things worse. ]
Like I said, we need somewhere safe. Or as safe as it's gonna get. Then-- I need to check on Sam. [ meaning he'll go drag him out of a house turned stomach if he has to, because dean can't just leave his brother behind. but that's a mission he doesn't want cas taking part in.
but first things first, they need to set up somewhere-- a meeting point and a safe zone, no matter how small. the jungle seems ideal, almost. dangerous as it might be. the rain might be a problem though, has him glancing up at the dark sky. ]
Firs though, I say we check if our dear Cultists have any extra tents.
